Calling all Butches (And Their Babes)

This piece, published in FDBNHLLLTTFBELONGING [2020], was written with the help of  GPT-2 (Generative Pre-Trained Transformer 2), an open-source artificial intelligence, used to  generate text output which ‘while sometimes indistinguishable from humans, can become  repetitive or nonsensical when generating long passages.’ (GPT-2, Wikipedia, 2021). Valerie Solanas’s The SCUM Manifesto was fed into GPT-2, and the resultant material was  edited to ventriloquise Solanas’s imitable voice into a rallying cry for the inheritors of her  foundational society for cutting up men (in order to become them).
